Writing
My writing explores the intersection of women’s health, metabolic medicine, and healthcare systems reform – translating research into frameworks that challenge assumptions and reframe familiar problems.
I write for multiple audiences: individual women navigating midlife transitions, healthcare professionals rethinking protocols, and organizational leaders designing for health rather than managing sickness.
Whether it’s long-form essays on Substack, peer-reviewed research, or thought leadership on LinkedIn, my work bridges clinical expertise with accessible storytelling – always asking: what are we getting wrong, and how do we redesign it?
This page houses my published work, ongoing projects, and where to follow along.
Most Recent Project
For clinicians: The Obesity Medicine Association’s Practice Management Algorithm
I was the primary author of this operational guide from the Obesity Medicine Association for clinicians building, running, and scaling an obesity medicine practice. It draws on what I learned starting an independent practice from scratch.
Work in Progress:
I write about what women are taught to believe about their bodies, and what it costs us. This comes in the form of essays on Substack, clinical research, and commentary, all drawn from 25 years in the exam room.
I’m also writing a book on the same question.
