Speaking

I speak about what women are taught to believe about their bodies, and what it costs them.
With over 25 years of practicing medicine – in women’s health and obesity medicine – I bring the biology and the exam-room stories together for audiences of women, clinicians, and the organizations that serve them.
My talks challenge assumptions, reframe familiar problems, and leave people seeing things differently.
Featured Keynote Presentations
These talks can be customized – from 30-minute keynotes to half-day workshops.
Health ≠ Morality
How shame-based health narratives teach women to shrink – in their bodies, careers, and voices – and how medicine, workplaces, and culture can stop reinforcing them.
Ideal for: women’s leadership events, professional associations, health-system leaders
Designing for Strength
Women in midlife are experienced, high-value talent. Most are hungry to contribute, yet they are leaving the workplace at record rates. Understanding what’s broken in the systems they are working in and how to redesign them is the key to optimizing our current and future workforce
Ideal for: benefits leaders, executive retreats, women’s leadership events
Fade or Rise: Rewriting Midlife
Why midlife is when women are taught to disappear, what the biology actually asks of us, and what happens when we refuse to wait to be taken seriously.
Ideal for: women’s leadership events, retreats, association keynotes

My Approach
Evidence-Based
Every talk is grounded in current research, delivered without academic jargon.
I translate complex science into clear frameworks that audiences can immediately apply.
Story-Driven
I use patient stories and lived experience to make complex concepts relatable and memorable.
Data informs the framework, but stories make it stick.
Action-Oriented
Audiences leave with practical frameworks and tools they can apply immediately.
I offer more than inspiration – focusing on actual strategies that can be implemented easily.
