Writing

My writing explores the intersection of women’s health, metabolic medicine, and systems reform – translating research into frameworks that challenge assumptions and reframe familiar problems.

I write for multiple audiences: individual women navigating midlife transitions, healthcare professionals rethinking protocols, and organizational leaders designing for health rather than managing sickness.

Whether it’s long-form essays on Substack, peer-reviewed research, or thought leadership on LinkedIn, my work bridges clinical expertise with accessible storytelling – always asking: what are we getting wrong, and how do we redesign it?

This page houses my published work, ongoing projects, and where to follow along.

Where I Write:

My primary platform for long-form essays exploring the myths, biology, and systems that shape midlife women’s health and challenging cultural narratives around aging, weight, and strength.

My research focuses on evidence-based approaches to complex health challenges – bridging clinical practice with rigorous science.

Current Project: The Book

I’m currently completing a book diving into the gaps that exist in obesity care today – why we struggle individually and culturally to adopt treatment strategies long-term and what a different approach could provide us. The book uses patient stories and lived experience to demonstrate the power of foundational mindset shifts and aligned expectations. Publication details to come.
